KentuckianaWorks, Kentucky (2014 grantee:  $2,935,813) is using a blended Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) to provide training to information technology job seekers.

An Employment Leadership Committee comprised of regional business leaders from the IT field will oversee the project which pairs mentors/instructors from the local tech community with students that will utilize the up-to-date, online curriculum.  The goal is to place a higher percentage of job seekers in employment at a fraction of the cost of traditional educational programs.
